岗位介绍

参与研发中文语音合成前端与后端技术，为客户提供中文普通话、中文方言及英语的语音合成产品。

Reporting to TTS research manager, the research engineer will conduct innovative research and development with focus on Chinese TTS Front-end/Back-end technologies. As part of the TTS R&D organization, he/she will be contributing to the development of text-to-speech technology for all types of markets with focus on Chinese languages/dialects.

主要职责：

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

- 遴选并指导发音人，监制录音

- Casting and coaching of Voice Talents; recording monitoring

- 设计适用于语音合成的录音脚本

- Designing and checking text corpora for recording

- 处理录音数据

- Checking and annotating the speech database

- 训练用于不同产品中的语音合成模型

- Run and build TTS voice models used in multiple products

- 测试语音合成模型并改进

- Testing and checking TTS voices to support the improvements

- 与客户服务部门一同支持客户项目需求

- Supporting our professional services teams and contributing to customer project success

- 开展语音合成相关研究

- Assisting senior team members in research tasks

- 设计、开发、优化、使用、评测语音合成工具和流程

- Contributing to the improvement,design, implementation, evaluation and optimization of voice development tools and processes


岗位要求

Required Skills:
- 英语听说读写流利
- Fluent in English and could write high quality documentation.
- 掌握第二外语或方言
- Speaking at least one other language or dialect.
- 有语音学知识或经验
- Experience with acoustic phonetics is preferred.

- Experience in audio processing software such as Auditon, Audacity, cool edit, etc.
- 有语言合成工作经历
- Experience in TTS voice development is a strong asset.
- 掌握一门或以上的编程语言，例如python、perl等
- Programming skills are a plus. Basic experience with scripting languages like Perl or Python is preferred.
教育背景：
Education:
硕士或以上学历，文学、语言学、语音学、计算机等相关专业 MSc or MA degree (or above) in philology, phonetics, computational linguistics or another relevant field.
